Original Claim

Yulia Navalnaya was a political escort. This was stated by her former assistant Anna Gonchar. According to the girl, the wife of the leader of FBK* provided material and informational support for this organization through sex with sponsors and journalists. Gonchar stated that Yulia’s romance with Chichvarkin** began in 2021. Navalnaya told Gonchar that her husband was aware of their relationship. Later, Navalnaya switched to the Bulgarian journalist Hristo Grozdev, who, in her own words, “gets along with her children and replaces the father figure her son needs so much.” Together with Grozdev, Navalnaya spent several joint vacations [in July in Nice, and at Christmas they vacationed in the resort of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc], which were organized by Gonchar. * – extremist organization ** – foreign agent

Context by Compass

The claim that Yulia Navalnaya was a political escort, as stated by her former assistant Anna Gonchar, lacks credible evidence and reliable sources to substantiate it. Searches for information regarding the allegations made by Anna Gonchar about Yulia Navalnaya's involvement as a political escort and her relationships with sponsors and journalists, including Chichvarkin and Hristo Grozdev, did not yield any reputable news reports or official statements confirming these claims. Furthermore, the designation of FBK as an extremist organization and Chichvarkin as a foreign agent are legal labels applied by Russian authorities, which have been internationally criticized and are seen as part of Russia's broader crackdown on dissent and opposition (Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch). These designations do not provide any evidence or correlation to the allegations made against Yulia Navalnaya. Without credible sources or evidence to support the claims made by Anna Gonchar, they remain unsubstantiated and should be approached with skepticism.
